Local / Independent Cinemas.

I know your big company cinemas like VUE, ODEON, Cineworld ect.

But do any of you have a local / Independent Cinema in your area, not part of a big company like so on.

Theres one on by the beach in my area about a 15 min journey from my house. They have a few in europe like three others but there first in the UK there very community based with events ect and charity nights and good customer service, with the most comfy seats ever. They show all the big films that any other cinemas show. called Light Cinema.

Yeah, mines called WTW Cinema and it's got like 5 or 6 around Cornwall that I know of.

we have the electric cinema which is pretty niche now. last time I checked it had a nice array of adult movies on offer wink wink

Can't say I've never seen any around here, they all seem to be the big company types.

I can't think of any that aren't owned by big companies. Just read that glasgow has the tallest cinema in the world though

it takes ages to get to the top of it if the screen you're going to is up there

We've got an Everyman which is a chain of about 8 or so cinemas within London and the M25.

Its quite good and actually shows most of the latest films and also has live opera and sports events shown there too.
