    Default T-Mobile UK Upgrades?

    So hey

Basically, I phoned up about an upgrade I can get after tomorrow. They explained T-Mobile offer you a discount on a new phone, depending on your contract.

Just wondering if anyone knows how much discount they offer etc, or has any experience on this discount - if so how much was your monthly bill and how much was your discount?

    Cheers

Only way I was told I could get a discount was to keep my current phone and my price would drop, or I could get a free upgrade to basically anything.

Hmm yeah the upgrade is what I am interested in - also been offered 20% off monthly, but that isn't exactly any good - it is the upgrade I want some phones require up front payment too.

The discount is proportional to how much you pay, how long your contract is and how reliable you are with payments.

No one can really say, but you should be able to login to My T-Mobile on their website and see all the prices.

It can't be too much, it cost me £60 to upgrade from a HTC Desire to a Samsung Galaxy S2... and that was with ripoff upgrade prices (month-on-month employee deal, so they whack our upgrade prices up instead).

    Payments are direct debit.

T-Mobile are quoting £110 from Milestone to Galaxy S2 (contract is only like £15 a month)

Ideally I want the Nexus, so phoning carphonewarehouse to try and negotiate through them

    CPW warehouse said £514 minus the discount which is;
    £210 at £15 a month
    £270 at £20 a month
    £310 at £25 a month

So actually in the long term, the £15 is the best option.

However, £310 for the phone is a lot of cash. Anyone know what CPW are like when it comes to negotiation..?

Yeah I really want it, just don't fancy a £300 up front payment aha (since that isn't a saving on the actual price :S)

May I ask how much you paid up front + contract?
