Staff name changes

It's clear here that the reason why they have to have their names as their habbo name is because of the amount of effort and life wasted it would take for someone to know who they are on habbo compared to their name being easily visible.

i really don't know why the forumbit for habbo name can't be compulsary in staff group and we can be allowed to have our own forum names. mathew's point about DJ and names doesn't stand anyway because even now my dj name is bethie (not so cringy, ty) not publicised and i am forced to have it very clearly in my usertitle as all staff are.

If I'm honest, more people come into the desk asking 'who is dj x' and not 'who is x on the forum' so it does fail how their forum name MUST be their habbo name yet their dj name DOESN'T. Sorry to wreck all the dj's mojos, trust me i'd prefer to be dj richie and not dj darkenemy (lol) but it's the truth.

If I'm honest, more people come into the desk asking 'who is dj x' and not 'who is x on the forum' so it does fail how their forum name MUST be their habbo name yet their dj name DOESN'T. Have to agree here, if anything the DJ's names need to be aligned more than the forum name needs to be.

Or they could keep their DJ names and have their Habbo name underneath their DJ name in the HxL/DJ box? ^_^

But if that can't work, then yep, I've had endless trouble trying to work out what DJ's habbo names are.

If that's the case management would just add a new feature where they can search for people via their habbo name (located on thepost bit) which they refuse to do so i don't see why they would add it yo the website unless they're just being stubborn.

I see why they do it for help desk staff though, as then they can relate to the help desk staff on the forum instead of just on Habbo and they are more easily found... But I guess a rule could be that they include their forum name in their motto if it differs from their habbo name instead?

Why is it that when people become staff that they must have their forum name the same as their habbo name?

I can understand it for the events and I guess DJ departments but rare values and help desk staff having name changes seems pointless. One of the reasons I haven't applied to become staff here in over 5 years is cos I don't wanna be renamed smurf.mad.kyle thanks
