    It seems like they might be learning then; you commented on how they were playing rather flat last week so perhaps it's been (finally) picked up on! Just need to keep it up and fingers crossed it's not a fluke!

    Ha, considering Wigan's streak and Widnes' past games I thought it would have been a very different result, yeah!

    @JerseyShore How did your picks go for this week? So far I only got 1 right (Storm v Rabbitohs), 3 right winner wrong margin, and 3 wrong. I'm not doing particularly well this season so far.

    @Mathew

    Featherstone Rovers player Tim Spears has been banned for two matches for committing a Grade C violent punching offence during his side’s defeat to Batley Bulldogs while Batley’s Alex Bretherton will miss one match for a Grade B striking offence in the same contest.

    Featherstone’s Sam Smeaton and Batley’s Paul Mennel have both avoided suspensions after they were charged with committing Grade A offences during the fixture the Bulldogs won 34-22.
    So, was there trouble at the match then?

    Yeah there were a couple of fights, just because Featherstone don't like losing.. haha. Tim Spears is nearing the end of his time as a rugby player IMO. I met him back when I was in Primary School and he played for Dewsbury Rams... he held a one-off sports class for us. He's always flicking between Featherstone, Dewsbury and Batley... but I don't really think he's ever been that decent anyway. Hes a thug by the look of recent events too.

    I never saw how the fights broke out (my eyesight is terrible, LOL) but Paul Mennel did end up with a broken nose... but then he was playing again at Leigh. Batley fans in the crowd were shouting "watch his nose!"
