Think the merit thing got tweaked by Oli, so he changed the criteria and removed it from quite a few people. That probably explains why.

Yeh that's correct, then he said you need to be manager 1 year instead of 6 months, not be fired etc.
It was if I can recall correctly because he wanted to make it more exclusive, so not too many people would have it.

In terms of Anniversary VIP and stuff related to that if we have a number of options then I'm willing to put them into a poll and then go from there really.
Some time ago now we wiped the Habbox Merit group ready for some refurbishment and it is finally time for this to happen.
Upon request of the owners of Habbox we have changed what the Habbox Merit group is about, mainly to try and direct it to what it was before the revamp this time last year which gave a lot more people access to the group. The Habbox Owners want this group to be a really special group for those who have contributed to Habbox in absolutely massive ways within the past, rather than the 40+ managers that found their way into the group in the past year.
Firstly we are restoring the group to only Ex-Staff, the reason for this is the idea behind the group is to reward those who did a lot for Habbox in the past. We also want to separate this from those who have simply worked for us in a managerial role, as we feel it takes something special to make this group.
Therefore the requirements to be a member of this group are now to:
~ have worked for Habbox in a managerial role for 1 year (with no breaks) OR have contributed something outstanding to Habbox*
~ have resigned from your role (not been fired)
~ request must be on the same account used when a manager
~ must have recieved 0 infractions within 3 weeks of your resignation
~ must not have an active infraction at time of request
~ maintain appropriate behaviour around HabboxForum whilst a member of the group.
*Outstanding contributions are judged by General Management.

Yeh it's all a bit fuzzy, like general management. Whether behave yourself means being allowed to be fired on a job after like he did with HxHD.
So a few ways to interpret things here. I know people who had slipped through the net. I know Matt recently amended someone's as well.

All of these still stand in my case except for currently having an infraction (for saying that a moderator is not very good... fair obv), having originally been accepted for the "outstanding contribution" part rather than management for a year as I certainly was not~ have worked for Habbox in a managerial role for 1 year (with no breaks) OR have contributed something outstanding to Habbox*

~ maintain appropriate behaviour around HabboxForum whilst a member of the group.not a huge deal just remembered it because I saw MissAlice has it and it was never adequately explained to me why contributions once believed to be more than enough were suddenly not up to standard
Back on topic of a possible anniversary userbar type thing, still feel it's unwarranted as longevity doesn't necessarily denote activity, and as MissAlice's own signature states - "Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them."
