    Default Minus Repping

After speaking with loads of people, a lot of us seem to believe atm that -rep is just being abused now, and sorry scott no offence, but not really being dealt with properly half the time. For instance, Looking at the, "Me & J-Raviv" thread in habbo alterations, someone, not gonna name them, -reps everyone on the thread for "posting for post count" spitefully, and it doesn't even get removed from anyone who reports it. To be honest a lot of people including myself just feel that -rep should be removed as it only promotes spitefullness, and for Alex for instance, stops him ever going up a rep power cause someone just -reps him to keep him low.

Also, another point is we can't even remove it easily for non-vip people because we can't see who -reps us, which is rediculous, either get rid of the requirement for the name of who -repd and just work it out yourself if person can't give, or show it to everyone ;L

In that thread it might be halas or j-raviv whose -repped you. However I do agree that should be looked into as I don't think many were posting for the sake then.

I'm pretty sure I got that thread closed like 2 weeks ago, if someone's went back and -repped in a closed thread that's just stupid.

I've reported a couple -rep in my time and they where both removed, not sure how they don't get dealt with - I think that too much rep gets removed tbh

    probs dbgtz -repping them looool

report the rep in the thread and it WILL be dealt with. admins haven't been as active recently so you will just have to wait. personally I never even bother getting -rep removed tbh

-rep should certainly not be removed.

I think if it's pointless -rep it should. One time I got -prepped for answering a question correctly and he -repped me for spamming. It was really pointless and if its not then I'll leave it.

Yea, half the time people just -rep for stupid stuff, i'm constantly getting it, and it's just really pointless. Tbh the amount of things that ever deserve -rep are so slim these days, and all this "posting for post count" -reps that everyone gets these days, if people think it's a pointless post then report it, and if it was it'd probably have been edited by mods anyway :L

I'm not a fan of -rep, especially as I think people with very little rep often get targeted and can't ever make it past 1 rep power. I'm not sure if stopping people from being able to -rep is the way forward, but it is annoying to constantly have to keep asking to remove pointless or unnecessary -rep.
