Minus Repping

Not sure where I stand exactly on it being removed, I suppose I'm fine either way, but sometimes it is abused a bit - as Jan said, the J-Raviv + Halas thread is a perfect example of abuse, I was like "what the hell" when I'd been -repped for posting a comment lol (reason was for "getting my post count up").

Well I think it does get abused as I know there is people who -rep just because they don't like the person *Removed* and says if I get it removed, he will keep doing it. LMAO So I think if a person is caught constantly -repping for the sake of it with no real valid reasons then they should be warned.

Most -reps are given correctly I think, it's just they are so easily removed as well. I think there is nothing wrong for -repping someone because it seems like that user is posting to get their post count up.

Yeah, I've got loads of -reps for being "arrogant" or "rude" from the same person (won't mention who) when it's obvious that they haven't even read my post half the time (especially when I've posted a positive comment or my personal view when it's been asked for).

Thing is that j-raviv one some of us have reported, nothing happens. And not gonna name who but got a few spiteful -reppers who -rep me a lot and i barely ever can get it removed, so like to know how it's supposedly so easy to get them removed.

Removing -rep will be the worst decision habbox has made since hiring @Chris; as forum mod.

Removing it would make the reputation system completely pointless.

I agree with this! It would make everything so much easier to just have the person warned than having to remove the -rep button completely (which I don't particularly want to happen).

another thing just thought of, why can't it just be that if someone -reps someone spitefully enough times we just ban them form -reping that person? Would be a lot better tbh

I've just looked at the thread and I see most of the posts repeating what other people have said. That isn't against the rules but I am sure it is annoying for some users to have to read through the same point being brought up again and again. I can't comment on how they judge if a rep is pointless or not, and how they respond to a thread. But I am sure that Scott and Brandon know what is and what isn't and if it was really that pointless it would of been removed.
