Is this true? Was he like the old Manager from ClubHabbo? If so he used to be on the Habbox Do not hire list. Wow. This is mad.

Logged on to see this and was shocked, despite being a month or two delayed in finding out. I actually signed on to CH for the first time in years to post but the thread was locked.

RIP to an absolute legend. I remember some good times, like when we were doing devotehost with harry, when I had to argue to get you off the do not hire list here so you'd be able to become assistant news manager, when we did all the other ****** habbo forums and laughed on msn etc. Apart from one other person you're pretty much the most trustworthy person I knew online, you even had my address etc for that little NDA! Still pretty damn shocked and trying to find out more info, was still assuming up to a few months ago that we were gonna go for that beer next year and have a laugh reminiscing over all the old Habbo stuff. RIP man
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

This whole story still fully breaks my heart. I knew Ollie for years and years. I wasn't sure he actually killed himself though. Urgh.

It is very sad that it was over these rip off loan sharks that if they were plying their trade on the street would be locked up and called obscene but cos they pay taxes and run it like a business, it's all okay and no-one cares that lives get ruined in the process.

i'm sorry, but those who lent the money aren't completely at fault here. his parents in the article state that he was intelligent enough to know the ins and outs of it all, but he still borrowed to fuel his gambling in bingo halls. i'm not saying that payday loans are a good thing, but it's easier said than done to just throw the blame elsewhere. it's a sad thing (edit;and i mean sad as in sorrow/sad, not as in insult/sad) for someone to take their life over (as i'm sure he found the pressure of his debts tied with his gambling addiction just too much), but he also had his hand in his downfall.

Oh I'm not saying he is absolved from all responsibility and I don't completely buy the "it's there at a click of button so it's not real" angle they were going for but there should be a duty of care as well.
