ASUS generally make decent routers... I'm not sure on Netgear, but their managed switches I use at work are very good.
Switches... you can go for any. Personally I'd go for a gigabit switch made by either Netgear, D-Link or Linksys/Cisco.

I've got some gigabit TP Link TL-SG1008D think i'll just stick with that should do the job.
Thanks :p
Yeah :p
Gonna buy the Asus RT-N66U and Msft SideWinder X4
so /thread :p
I think they may of just been released for buying this week, they're only a recent thing - or the carbon fibre looking ones are. ebuyer seem to like them at least.
Review it when it comes, it seems pretty good![]()

Asus have announced the next version of that router a few weeks ago although there is no release date. It is the RT-AC66U and supports 802.11ac (Up to 1.75Gbps). As there is no release date dunno how bad your situation is and if you want to wait or not.
any ideas on prices?
could wait a few weeks, router atm is annoying but can live with it.
