If it wasn't for Hart, Terry and dodgey refereeing, that could easily have been a draw/Ukraine win.

@Kasabian; wasn't the guy offside in the build up to the disallowed goal anyway?

Also Terry was absolutely brilliant tonight. He showed why he was england captain, shame he lost it for such a stupid but largely unproven thing!

    Yep!

I think its good that we got them instead of Spain- but both games would have been hard.

Not just on about the disallowed goal! There was 2 hand balls, one when parker was crawling on the floor to block and the other late on hitting terrys hand
Numerous saves from Joe Hart were nice to watch over and over.

Oh the Parker one. I didn't think it hit his hand tbh, looked more like his head to me but could be wrong!

The terry one would have been a bit harsh wouldn't it? Might just be my biased view though

    Joseph S Blatter ‏@SeppBlatter

After last night’s match ‪#GLT‬ is no longer an alternative but a necessity.

Isn't the the same guy who said GLT wasn't needed when something happened like this a few years ago with England? Where they scored but it didn't count.

The guy is an absolute ******* moron, and the whole of the footballing community would be better without him. He really does amaze me at how biased he can be(I don't support england), but there have been a few cases where he said goal line technology isn't needed, where England had scored(Lampard v Germany), yet as soon as anything goes their way(Ukraines goal - http://youtu.be/XJnLSVYY8XI?t=12s ) it becomes a necessity.

Goal line technology should have been tested and in place fully by now in my opinion. I'm sure that when in place it will be easy to figure out if a ball has gone over the line or not & can change games should a goal be given or not given.

Lampard v Germany would have made it 2-2 & then anything could have happend
last nights not given goal would have made it 1-1 and that could have led to Ukraine winning

There have been many more incidents like this and they should be a plan to sort out these problems.

I'm not for any other technology as for if it should be a throw in / corner / offside / penalty decision as they are always going to be part of the game & decisions go for you and sometimes they dont.
