I actually got mine off the .ca server about 3-4 years ago now, have had it since. Can't remember if I traded a throne for it or 12-14 GBs, all I remember is that the room was full when the trade originally went down

I also read somewhere else online that they were in the US hotel as well, still completely bewildered at how a dutch item ended up in the Canadian and American hotels .

I thought the Parasol was only given out on the SG hotel but looked like the White Parasol (and the colours were later changed)?

I thought a White Parasol was never given out on .sg? I thought it was just spotted in a Staff member's room and people got really confused over why it was never released etc.

In July 2007, seen in ‘Vote for the next rare’ poll at Singaporean homepage. It does exist - spotted before in Germany and in other hotels afterwards. Why did it take years for this version te be seen ? It might have been a forgotten, not intended for release item.

The hotels use textfiles with furniture names, mostly called ‘externals’. Inside are these lines:

furni_rare_parasol_name=Parasol
furni_rare_parasol*0_name=Green Parasol
furni_rare_parasol*1_name=Yellow Parasol
furni_rare_parasol*2_name=Orange Parasol
furni_rare_parasol*3_name=Violet Parasol

Some of the old rare pieces of furniture (with color variations) have this, a general line and a set of numbered lines. In Singapore files, positions are reversed, general line says Green Parasol, the line numbered *0 says White Parasol. Maybe it’s inside as an uncolored prototype, not intended for release.

K apparently it was an option in a "Rare Vote" on .sg but it wasn't "chosen" idk. Wish we had more .sg users on this forum :/

I also traded for this thing when they were only tradeable by dropping it in another persons room, was all based off trust

Remember someone having 4 in there casino and said it was comp prize on .ca . apparently some zon zon zon parasols are permanently shut and cannot be opened.
