Why not? Did you see how well they played at the end of last season?
Have you ever seen any of their new signing plays? Obviously they won't be as strong upfront what with Drogba leaving, but I think Sturridge will be a lot better this season, and you can't just dismiss Torres. Sure he hasn't been playing himself for the last 18 months or so, but he's still a decent player. I think their midfield will be one if, if not the best, in the league.
Guess it's down to opinions then. Look how far off they were. Their best player left. As you pointed out United have strengthened with Kagawa and City haven't but are very formidable anyway and title holders. Only one of us can be right and we won't know who until MayWhy not? Yeah Man Utd have brought in Kagawa but he's just about the only player they've brought in. I still think their midfield is pretty weak and has no depth (as they found out last season.) If they can bring in RVP it will be a different ball game too as I think Rooney will drop back into midfield possibly.
Chelsea have also brought in Oscar and Marin!
Like I said though, this season will be extremely interesting as there has been a lot of foreign talent come into the league over the summer, even though it's been a pretty quiet window so far!
Yeah but my point was they're not proven in this league. The same can be said for Kagawa but the fact he was voted best player in the Bundesliga (closest to the PL) holds him in good stead. I've seen players like Reyes in the last 10 years who looked fantastic before they came to the PL and couldn't handle the physicality.Yeah Man Utd have brought in Kagawa but he's just about the only player they've brought in. True but also I'm sure Hazard got voted Ligue 1 player of the year (although let's be fair that's not really hard considering the standard of that league.)Yeah but my point was they're not proven in this league. Actually he's won it twice in a row.
Yeah, not as impressive. He definitely has talent though, looking forward to seeing him. He has come across as a bit of a **** demanding to announce it on Twitter etc![]()
Aren't all players like that now though? haha.
Stephen Fletcher who Sunderland are linked with wrote on his twitter that he'd handed in a transfer request the other day! I found that quite strange.

2 - Tottenham
3 - Man Utd
4 - Chelsea
