Wow!!... harsh! English is the best subject!

not long to wait now omggggggggg!!
Haha. With the IGCSE we literally spent the past year going through poems and short stories and it literally bored me to death. I don't mind the writing side of english (like the creative side I guess) which is maybe why I got a B in english lit and an A in language.

Ah well, I don't plan on ever doing anything english-related again so its fine!

I heard that too, but UCAS set out a Tweet earlier...

I assume they're just trying to stagger the times when people visit the site, but in reality it could be any time? I've heard some universities send out a text message at midnight too... I don't know whether to even try getting some sleep or not!

I remember I did poetry for GCSE English Literature and it wasn't too bad. I did it again for AS Level and found it pretty difficult throughout the year; it just so happened that on exam day, everything seemed to click into place and I ended up with an A in the exam (C in the coursework so B overall, eeeek). I prefer looking at the social side of language such as accent and dialect, and I enjoyed looking at child language acquisition too. Hopefully I'll be able to tailor a university course to fit that (if I get in)!

This information is like gold. Use it! I checked at 8am and it had crashed and got my results at school not knowing if I'd got in to uni, or where of my two choices. Go on as early as you can and you will be so much less nervous
