I don't mind duffy. I listen to "Mercy" once in a while, and the only other song of hers I know is "Warwick Avenue" I THINK? Love Amy Winehouse, just don't listen that much any more.

i'll list some fab artists/bands with female vocals.

adele, lana del rey, bat for lashes, birdy, florence + the machine, daughter and the naked and famous!!

Can you recommend a lana del ray song? I didn't like born to die and another one (video games? Or have I just made that up...).
Birdy sang Skinny Love correct? It's a very good song if she did
Adele - I like Rumour Has It, Rolling In The Deep, Chasing Pavements, Set Fire To the Rain & partially, Someone Like You. Just don't "adore" her and don't listen that much aha.
Florence is amazing.
Haven't heard of 'bat for lashes' or 'the naked and famous' .

Anyway to recommend ldr song, try "Paris" and "Blue Jeans", they both pretty amazing. And yea u didnt make up video games.

Adele try turning tables, my all time favourite really.

I like Paris by lana . Stepping Stone by Duffy is so-so

i love alllll of lana's songs but my favourites at the moment are; carmen, serial killer, national anthem, children of a bad revolution and i sing the body electric (live). and yeah, birdy sung the cover of bon ivers skinny love. i love both of the versions, haha. and for adele you should listen to her older stuff. some of the songs from her first album are fantastic. try daydreamer and hometown glory, they're my favourites. and you should youtube bat for lashes and the naked and famous. they're great!

in general tho i do prefer adeles more recent stuff to old stff bt that all depends on choice, so i'd try both warren
