I think with any show like this there will always be parts which could be changed or improved on. I did notice myself that some songs were cut pretty short while I was enjoying listening to them but didn't think much of it. Now that you reminded me of the 1:30 rule then it all made sense - It would be wise to make sure that ALL entries have the same amount air time. No one should have less or more. While I do like Richie's entry I also see the point where they said about it being good and people are waiting for it - Then again, they could have said that because of what people actually said about it in the thread.

Although remaining unbiased about the entries and not making anyone seem the best or a favourite is probably key. But we have to remember here, these are put on for a bit of fun and we don't follow the X Factor rules.

I was a bit concerned that you weren't aware of who was actually management mainly but that can easily be improved on.

Gina/Ollz - There is no reason to resign over this thread - You get used to these and to be honest you are very good DJ's and staff members at Habbox. You are giving us your free time to do something you enjoy and the show itself was actually good. With most feedback you just take it on the chin - Act upon it if needed and then just ignore any harsh comments that you may find personal/insulting.

I would have personally sent this in a PM to the DJ's and the Radio Management and maybe even include the GM or Community AGM as normally these threads are bit out of control and people just start to bash any other member of staff or even target them personally. Which if you are unaware staff members, you should read this here.

aww i didn't think the DJ's were that bad because they did say "oh this one is really good" or "that was really good!" (when they really weren't) so i thought it was unbiased in that way but talking about someone elses entry who wasn't even played until the end is not fair at all. kinda a coincidence he was played at the end too because you tend to remember the first and last entries? obviously it's a contest and people may win based on popularity and humor but it's unfair on those entries that were good but just passed over for someone who did it for a joke (not saying you didn't put in effort because you obviously did) but yeah. really not fair to continually talk about one person's being "really good" or even talking about it at all because it just gives them more publicity and makes people think "well if everyone else likes it i don't want to be any different"

Ah, another thread which has inevitably turned into some form of HabboxLive-bashing - I guess we're all feeling bored and particularly hormonal this evening. I didn't listen to the show because I find the whole process cringeworthy, just like the X-Factor, but I don't support people being rude to staff members in a public thread. The two hosts have dedicated their time to the site regardless of how good or bad it was. Please remember that Habbox is merely a fansite dedicated to an online game for teenagers; it's not big or important compared to many others, and there is no reason at all why someone should feel the need to leave after doing what they enjoy.

Tbh. Most shows have lots of DJs going "erm" and biding little pieces of time with additional words "so", "basically" etc. So unless you demand everyone in HxL stops doing that and pretty much 95% of the population considering most of us do it irl, I don't see the huge issue. They were nervous and that's fine - I'd be nervous if I was trying to host one of the few big events HxL does per year, especially if I put a clip of me singing in it.

I understood the whole news apps thing as a joke, but idk how others would feel about that SO I WON'T GO INTO THAT OR I'LL BE SHOUTED AT.

Yeah some of the entrants were missing, which is a dreadful shame. When the voting poll goes up, will users have a chance to listen again? That'll give the entrants not included a chance to actually enter the comp. and be heard haha. I would have loved to hear Rosie's @Elegance; singing.

I don't think it was a bad show. Some of the personal DJ convos went on for a bit, but I didn't think it was terrible? These things can't always flow easily, and considering Logan is away (I believe) I think they did an "O.K" job dealing with it themselves. Still got the listeners up eh?

And yes, it is funny how most major events get huge complaints in Hx Feedback. In all fairness, some of the things people have brought up in here are perfectly fine issues to complain about, but others seem to have this image that habbox events must be 100% perfect, to plan with no flaws, no errors, no mistakes etc. which is just unrealistic for ANYONE.

I thought the show was bad. You would have thought a show with such hype and advertisements would actually be planned out but it just sounded like a mess. Cutting off entries halfway through just to play regular songs (as well as hyping up the last, much longer entry in full) is not right, especially when the timings were already messed up. I appreciate the effort but I don't think the 2 DJs tried their best.

exactly, you didn't even listen to it whereas we did and found it unfair hence the thread. everyone knows it's just a fansite and they've put in time and dedication but it doesn't mean things can't be improved or criticized.

People are making it out as if it was some sort of plot to make me win. I don't speak to Gina or Oli and for those who know me well, they'll already know I don't exactly see eye to eye with management. I don't believe 'bigging up' my clip wasn't intentional. Perhaps their likes and dislikes got caught up in the show, which is an easy mistake, so maybe they played the clips they liked more so towards the end of the show, to go out with a bang.

Oh and just to add Laura I don't think anyone picked up on him saying don't apply to news or w/e but if they did it was clearly meant as a joke to samantha, not you.

I think they did try their best tbh, they were really nervous (who wouldn't be when you have to sort out one of the main HxL shows of the year by yourselves?). Just because you're not perfect doesn't mean you're not trying your hardest

    OOPS SAID IT WRONG

Sure, offering constructive criticism about the show's organisation or logistics is exactly what this thread should be about. Picking on staff members about their nervousness isn't nice at all. I feel embarrassed for them, so I dread to think how they feel.
