I managed to beat it doing everything the same, it was just my bad luck! . Now i'm stuck on the pyramid bit even with a map...

o i did pyramid without a map, but trust me unless ur lucky it still takes 5hrs + with one. (well i did use maps later but not at first, but never used on bottom floor).
