The issue of people getting sour at others who have viewed but not replied to their thread (ye there are some people who would probably do that lol).

if it was only for staff, managers only. If it was for all, OPs like you said would be "ok".

I was being hypothetical, in relation to R+R threads dave. I'm not even talking about general forum use as I don't think it's necessary and something that could actually spark arguments - WHY DIDN'T YOU REPLY TO MY THREAD, WHY WERE YOU LOOKING AT MY THREAD (both of which I've had because I was looking at a thread at the time, let alone having a fully comprehensive history). Do you actually have a valid use of this or is it just because it's there?

I was just saying it could be possible for someone to use this feature with malicious intent, even if most of us wouldn't.
