the back design of the iphone 5 is cute, ipod touch colours are cute, earpods are clever in the way they're designed (read like a tech thingy about how clever they are, will try + find it later)...

... however i think i'll continue with my boycott and hand-me-down 3rd gen nano

The new headphones and adapters are surely just a ploy to get more money for their products...

And what gets me is in US you can get one for around $299 (apparently) and yet in Australia the prices will rage between $799 - $1000. Not happy tbh, i reckon i'll go with the 4S considering they will hopefully go down in price or stick with my blackberry.

I doubt I'll get the iPhone 5, but I do really like the new touches, may buy one of them or the nano, as my HTC is starting to give up the ghost and music is just a big no no, although it could be the rom, meh.

By the way if you like the idea of having 4G then you need to be with EE (Everything Everywhere) which is T-Mobile and Orange combined. More information at http://ee.co.uk/.

Wanting 4G on any other network? Wait until 2013 but they will not be compatible with the iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 with 4G or LTE is exclusive to EE.

$299 in the US is the cost of the handset (up front) when you sign a 2 year contract. It works out at the same price.

The Aussie prices would be pay as you go.

The iPhone 5 doesn't seem like anything special, but I upgrade in November so I'll probably be getting one. I'm also with T-Mobile, so hopefully EE's 4G is up and running by then.

The new Nanos, however, are great. I'm very tempted to preorder one tomorrow.

Does anyone know what the tariffs will be for 4G yet on orange/t-moblie?

Also will 4G only be available in the actually cities? Because I live over the mersey and was wondering if I would get a 4G.

To conform with the extreme socialism in Europe compared to the lack of government interest in corporate affairs here:

They've made an adapter for their new proprietary connector.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
