Think the redirects would be a cool idea, so to people it would feel like they are there but they arent really! (if thats makes sense )

but I do also think it would be a good idea to just copy the original threads to their new location (then close/unstick them) rather than move them, so that nobody loses any of the post count they currently have, but it starts from a fresh with no post count enabled from the point you copy it. I can't really see anyone having an issue with it if its done that way because they arent really losing anything, and it just makes it more organised for future and solves the problem really.

Just got a private message about me and @Richie; abusing the thread for post count.. are you serious? I think everyone else in the thread should be contacted about this if that's the case. Defeats the purpose of the thread.

On a serious note... I can't actually thk of a good name for them... 'Non-discussion Forum', can't real categorise all of them as 'What...' or 'Post...'

This is what is going to happen and I hope this will put an end to these feedback threads about the issue.

A sub forum has been created (Waiting for a name)
Post count is disabled in this forum
All the "What are you" threads will be copied NOT moved to this new forum
All the current "What are you" threads will be closed

Problem solved.
