precisely. Niceness gets your further.
Omg, this is still going on?? o.o
Ed., as you said, Habbo is a game. Just try to have fun. If you're not having fun as you're supposed to in Habbo, then just leave. That's not our/my (since it was my event) fault anymore.
Also if you think your events would be so much better, why don't you apply for the Department and let everyone else judge it? Times have changed and people also change. As an events player, you can be a pain in the butt for hosts. Yelling ''skem'' or ''riggued'' every single time and most times you're not even trying to joke about it. As you must figure out, this doesn't let Events Organisers in such a good mood.
@e5; if the situation was the same, if he came into my room after d/cing and told me what had happened, without starting to shout and insult right away like he has done many times, I'd let him in like I did. If I do it to one person, I'll do it to everyone.

I didn't think it was that long ago.

init how can he expect to improve his department to actually make it the best it can be rather than just say it is
agreed. this seems to happen with any staff (the insulting back because they can't handle criticism). You're an Events Organiser so of course you're going to try and back your department on this one. Frankly there is no need to try and insult me as that further weakens any argument that you may have had. The form of your rebuttle seems to be an attempt to belittle or bully which in fact has no content whatsoever. I believe in equality and fairness and I know that if I got disconnected I wouldn't be let back in and I wouldn't ask to be either.
i get disconnected and i don't ask to be allowed back in because i think it's selfish and would rather let other people have a chance. i think it's ridiculous that people do ask to be asked back in because they can just play the next game and it causes disruption and holds everyone up. the only time i think it should be allowed is if they were in the final round then got disconnected.

completely agreed and i've said it before, i had a disagreement with a few people in the help desk before and they were really rude to me calling me a 'noob' asking if i had a forum account so they could -rep me on it. i didn't give them my forum name but someone else did and suddenly they're apologizing and my best friend and said "why didn't you just say it was you". same when i was in the room and someone was talking bad about me from what they'd seen on the forum then when someone told her i was in the room and what my habbo name was she was all up my ass (this doesn't happen now lol and probably won't now i've said all thisI apologise if I come across as "extreme" but I believe in fairness and equality and I will not rest until there is justice. I have strong integrity and morals about what is right and wrong and I feel that Habbox Events need to return to their former glory. Everyone is certainly NOT treated as equal. Comity verified this point earlier when he said that he had never even seen me before. People are judged by their reputation here which doesn't bode well for the future.). at the events, forum users and staff are treated SO much better. whenever i go on in a clone account ie when i'm banned, no-one talks to you even if you ask a question about how to play or anything about habbox. it's like a little clique. i've seen non-habboxers ask what habbox is etc or how to play and members get frustrated like "oh **** off" but if a member was to ask (such as old members who hardly ever use habbo and just came on for hxss) they'd explain for you. if you're not from habbox and you disconnect then ask to re-enter then it mostly falls on deaf ears. i've seen this happen often.
anyway im with ed but not all events are like this as it's not actually often people disconnect. i personally think rules should be if you disconnect you will just have to play in the next round instead or let them in first.

Guys, ad hominem, that is pointing out he's taking it (subjectively) too seriously, is not a logical justified reason as to why his opinions and feedback should be disregarded.
In my opinion, rules across similar Habbox events should be relatively consistant to reduce ambiguity and therefore disputes between both parties.
Chippiewill.
Yes, this is basically what I was trying to say by people bullying and belittling - it doesn't affect my argument at all.Guys, ad hominem, that is pointing out he's taking it (subjectively) too seriously, is not a logical justified reason as to why his opinions and feedback should be disregarded.

Don't see the problem of the thread, it's feedback. Ed. has a good point and it's constancy. It's not a hard concept.
My view is that if you d/c, you shouldn't be let back in seeing as rounds would pass and your probability of winning would increase. It's not the Events Organizers faults if you have rubbish internet. Get a rebate and invest in a better connection.

Whilst I don't agree with some of the preposterous ideas or the blatant targeting I do think that some rules about consistency need to be introduced - such as whether spellings matter, walkthrough rules, letting people back in ETC ETC. I know during my time I always stuck to rules I'd like to play to - if someone barely missed a round they could come back in but if they missed a lot then they couldn't. At a recent event (I think possibly during HxSS or Olympics) someone missed about 5 or 6 rounds of DTTF and were let back in, kind of annoying.
Writting all those rules would take too much time and EVEN after having them, I'm sure people wouldn't like them all so they would complain AGAIN. They are simple rules so we just follow our idk moral sense? About the example you just gave, if it was me hosting it, I'd have never let someone back in because that is indeed unfair and probably favoritism. But again if I host is favorising someone, that wouldn't be solved with rules as that's already a do not.Whilst I don't agree with some of the preposterous ideas or the blatant targeting I do think that some rules about consistency need to be introduced - such as whether spellings matter, walkthrough rules, letting people back in ETC ETC. How difficult can it be? The manager decides whether spelling is allowed and if people can come back in. I could write them in about 10 seconds flat, it just makes it fair.... ofc people are going to complain, it's habbox, but at least it's fair. Not everyone has the same 'moral sense' that you do, and favour their friends.Writting all those rules would take too much time and EVEN after having them, I'm sure people wouldn't like them all so they would complain AGAIN.
