Agreed. I just wrote a very lengthy response and realised it was not entirely relevant so oh well that's 5 minutes of my life I won't get back. But to expand, forcing people to spend more money (especially in this economic climate) is a recipe for disaster. It feels desperate quite frankly. The most recent nail for me was that you couldn't buy Habboween furni without actually buying credits. Usually the additional currency would be like a 'double your credits' offer. Not this time. I feel like the team are clutching at straws. Habbo is all over the place, with no news articles, updates through Twitter, and competitions on Facebook.. I hear about NOTHING in-game anymore. Why is it not on the homepage?? If they went back and used the proven techniques of better staff integration, better moderation, news feeds, more events, and build up the community again, I feel they would bring back more users who would be happy to buy credits that would off-set any need for 'paid promotions' and other crap like that.

Effectively we are in a situation where the game is haemorrhaging users and so the people left have to 'make up' the cash lost by paying for extra stuff. If more users were on the game, many more people would buy credits, reducing the need for others to pay out extra, meaning more credits available for them, increasing happiness and feel of 'value for money'.

I know it is not easy, but I think Habbo is looking more and more like a sinking ship, and now is the time for them to be innovative and build the community back up, lest it sink to the ocean floor forever.

It's not all bad tbh, it get's rid of all those noobs who advertise giveaways to get you into their cozzie change :/ For that reason I prefer it but it will suck for people who can't spare the credits for it.

It was probably renamed so it seems it is a new concept. I still think Adverts is a more suited name.
