    Yes it's 00:00 but on a 12 hour clock its 12:00am. If you use 'am' you're mainly referring to the 12 hour clock not 24 hour (you wouldn't go "it's 15:00pm today").

    But a lot of people are too slow to work out that 0:00 means midnight, therefore I felt it necessary to add the am.

    Plus my clock always says 15:00pm

    technically its 2am bst then goes to 1am gmt

    not 1am/midnight.

    Unless I move back to Britain, or move to the southern states, I won't be moving a clock forwards or backwards again (for the foreseeable future that is).

    Queensland don't do DST, yet the locals moan about it, even though they've said no to DST in three referendums. Topsy turvy land this is.
