agreed, and I thought twitter/facebook etc was meant to be the main communications hub for habbox, seems silly having a completely different site for people to remember. I doubt it will be used much anyway since the majority of our userbase aren't the kind of people to go to a specific website when habbox is visibly down. We are a habbo community so news would spread fast anyway, it normally is in HxHD for instance. Most people just ask someone "is habbox down" anyway and get an answer straight away. Not sure why twitter wasn't suitable for this? Since Matt is pracitcally always online anyway
I think its concerning if we 'expect' downtime, since it should always be kept to an absolute minimum anyway (especially unexpected downtime), and having a site dedicated to it is kinda celebrating it in a way which shouldnt be the case.
Planned maintanence can make use of the maintanence page anyway, and I don't see what is wrong with twitter/facebook/habbo/word of mouth/downforeveryoneorjustme.com (or w.e its called) isnt suitable enough and a whole new domain had to be made.I guess it will be okay if anyone uses it, but it just seems a bit pointless and a waste of time, when resources should be going full into V7 right now.
Not complaining or anything, and I guess to some people its nice, just not my kind of thing haha.
