    yeah, its based on CO2 output (after march 2002) and mine is high.

    corsas, kas, fiestas (like yours, I'm good at guessing right? ), anything with a small engine are pretty cheap on tax due to lower emissions.

    yeah im not looking forward to having no money! its not the petrol and stuff becuase ill be able to afford that its the insurance which is ridiculous!!

    I'm just old enough to have missed the insane prices for young people on insurance and now (over 25) it's pretty reasonable. Upwards of £1500/yr for a 17-20yr old on a 1.0 litre car is absolutely ridiculous. Good luck!
