Apparently, @Janice; would like more than just a well done, see she's demanding already @laura;.

Throughout your time in the News Department you've been going from strength to strength, although sometimes you had worse weeks than others you always pulled back and ensured you got to your minimum each time. Within December, you've improved and showed you can do managerial duties and take on feedback and fight back when you know you need to. You're an active member of the team and are always a friendly face, introducing yourself to new trialists, making sure they feel welcome and the like. You're the second female assistant I've had after Laura so I'm sure you'll get used to me more, glad we've been communicating a lot more now to help with news and such. You've only been officially the assistant for a few hours but you're already showing your potential, I know you'll prove that the decision was worth while and should have been done a while ago. If I remember correctly Laura always said you'd get to manage the department eventually and that you shall, you're one who knows your own mind and will ensure everything gets done. Not only that but you're punctual in some ways and I know you'll continue to thrive whilst being the Assistant Manager. Again I say well done and I look forward to working closely with you x.

I totally agree with you though, apart from the bit about always getting to minimum - love you really jan I know you'll do well because you always did better when you got more repsonsibilities (like when we promoted you to head, you really proved yourself even though I honestly wasn't sure at first) and I hope you'll be able to keep it up because let's face it, news needs a massive kick up the bum right now. You definitely deserve this and if you need any help I'm an old face who just won't bugger off so I'm here to help if Sam's not around or annoying you out of your skull (because TRUST ME I know she can do that).
