New Userbars

These are yucky.

The old ones were much neater and didn't stand out so much. They don't go well with some of the skins, such as the non-Habbo light that I'm using. I'd presume they'd be better with the newer skins, maybe configure them to certain skins, I dunno!

Also maybe I missed something, but how come when I transfer to the classic skin, some of the icons are the older ones and some, the newer ones?

The problem seems to be that the old ones actually highlighted the title while these new ones seem to drown it out with the background - by the looks of things you're just showing off stripey images, rather than the title of that user. What do the new ones look like with shading (and possibly black) around the writing? The old ones which were popular had this style and were readable.

Another problem is that the background also hides the pip image (e.g. the snow flake in the Christmas VIP userbar).

What also makes no sense is that management have different userbars to other users which just looks untidy - you're meant to maintain the same basic style, not have two types. If anything it looks like management hate the new userbars but wanted to push out a new design, so they deliberated to keep the old style for themselves because they find them superior to the new ones which break a load of basic graphic design rules (writing in the foreground, with a background to help make the writing stand out - this seems to of gone ignored with the writing becoming part of the middle-ground).

A small note:
Graphics Competitions simply do not work. People always suggest them when they dislike some new graphics but forget that most of the time the people most capable at making these images already design for Habbox. If you yourself lack the talent to design images, chances are that nor can many other people.

can't you do a vote to get rid of these hideous userbars and then do another vote for the new ones for the competition

or give us an option to disable userbars all together, anything better than looking at forum graphics by a 6y/o seriously.

Shall I confirm what I have been saying for the past few posts then? The competition is there for people to create user bars that they think would suit HabboxForum. Any entries would then be put into a poll and I assume one of the options will to be go back to the "Old" ones and even an option to keep the ones that are currently applied. You keep saying these bars look like they have been created by a 6 year old, the ones we have had before weren't exactly any better or looked like they were made by a much older person at all.

If these ranks are really causing your forum life to have issues then feel free to adblock them out for the time being.

It seems Chrome doesn't want to refresh your ones The others have come through though.

They do seem a bit bold on a white background, come to think of it :/ The old ones were nicely hollowed out to focus on the usertitle and the pip image related to it, now they're blended together which might be an information overload for some people.

That said, I wouldn't call them ugly or disgusting. They're quite nice.
