(wasn't exactly sure what they wanted for this video haha)

    Came across this too: http://www.saferinternetday.org/web/habbo-hotel
So looks like the mini-campaign (starting either Monday or Tuesday) will consist of the SID video competition, infobus talks and badges to all those who shout "Connect with Respect" in the official SID room when it's open.
That's a really good video . You've definitely got a good chance of winning !

    Not online very often

Hmm.. You could use Quicktime player to crop videos, although this is pretty basic.

Youtube also offers an editing service (http://www.youtube.com/editor) that is free, as far as I am aware. I haven't really used this much, so I don't know a lot about it - But is part of Youtube and it should allow you to make a basic video! (Though I'm not sure you will reach anywhere near the same standard of Veeim's video with that service alone :/ )

LMAO! At least they bothered to make one, I'll give them that!

Although I did really like a few of them, IMHO, Veeim's video is the only video that I've seen so far that is worthy of winning, It looked very professional and was very well thought out - that's going to be a tough one to beat, Good luck to everyone else!

I would have liked to make a video myself, if I was at home and could access the client, that is :/ Had a rather good idea! :@

*Disclaimer: I haven't seen all the videos, so if anyone is reading this and they have made a video, I may not be explicitly talking about yours - I'm sorry if I happened to have offended someone in any way, shape or form*

(BTW, whats stopping you making a video by yourself, and make the participants your alts? LOL £££££££)!
gee thanks, although the video rules said only pictures have to be used which explains the powerpoint like video

    btw its not mine.
    anyway

Hmm, I seems I hadn't previously watched your video, if it is this one: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCzXcOxStqw).

I thought yours was rather good actually, certainly had a lot more effort put into it than one or two I had seen - Didn't think it looked powerpointy at all - IMO, You certainly had the edge over Veeim's video in the respect of font choice - 10 points for Gryffindor for using Volter :¬:! (H)

In my original post, I was referring to another video that was actually made on a powerpoint presentation - I wasn't talking about yours - I decided not to post the links the videos I didn't like because I didn't want to single people out.

thanks, but then again people got confused what to do as the rules of the competitions said "pictures only, no dialogues" that's it, they should've elaborated more. but I think except for a few videos, no one made it on topic

I see what you mean, they were being quite vague with the rules - which meant people just interpreted it in their own way
