Looking symptoms up on the internet is possibly the worst thing you can do. The chances of having a heart attack from anxiety are quite slim, I know it's really scary though, I get them all the time too. What helped me is taking up meditation and getting a bit more exercise/fresh air - it made me feel almost instantly better.

What do you honestly expect a forum of teenagers to be able to tell you?

I'd say counselling or cognitive behavioural therapy will help, if the anxiety is really bad then get on meds

They'd probably offer you counseling or something.

You can get help from the nhs and it will most likely be tablets. They normally use a type of suppressant to surpress the feelings basically. My mum is on them on a relatively high dose for depression but my nan is on the same ones just a lower dose for anxiety. They are there to help you. Defo going to your gp is the best idea, and stop looking things up on the Internet it will just make you more worried. The CBT they often offer is very good but as soon as you have made enough progress for them they will most likely stop the sessions. Just as they did with my mum. Which isn't helpful as you tend to just slip backwards so it was all a bit pointless. Good luck with everything.
