As far as i'm aware, you can't cure HIV anymore than you can cure the common cold. I may be wrong, but thats the impression I get so i'm sceptical of this news. I would also add, that HIV could be more or less halted tommorow in this country if people firstly took personal responsibility for their actions, and secondly if we screened people coming in for diseases such as this.

But if it is true that it stills exists in the blood, has it been cured? it would still be passable to others.

It's confusing, and i'm not a science bonk so I haven't a clue other than to be sceptical.
