Not sure how its pointless, I more or less find most of your posts pointless.
Never the less namechange should be high. I don't like this wordcount thing really, Specially considering @-:Undertaker:-; will rack them up with his 848938934 word replys...
I think it should be standard per post.

1 month donator 4500
1 month VIP 6000

Make it challenging, As atm they seem dead easy.

6000 for one month vip seems too harsh. 1,200 posts (ignoring the potential of 0.01 per word extra).

The thing is Dan does make long posts - but surely that is a good thing. I presume the point is to prevent people gaining a huge advantage through just going around saying "nice room" or "pointless" rolleyes

The 0.01 extra points per words, or whatever it is, makes hardly any difference tbh - unless you're posting a really long post, but as said - surely that'd be a good thing ?

It might only take you a couple of months - but the majority of users it could easily take well over 6 months for one month VIP.

Mind you, I guess it wouldn't be right if people could easily get permanent vip.

As I have said though, you still need at least one low prize to let users see what their "work" is achieving.

Yeah I agree with this, on certain sites where you gain points to claim prizes they usually have some low value rewards so you know that your points are at least worth something. Having to get to 1500 just to have them worth something seems a tad extreme.

Yeah exactly - sort of like SMART targets. One key thing is for the aim to be realistic - otherwise it ends up as demotivational rather than motivational.
