YesBasically, a survival game within a specified boundary, the recent videos take place in a 2000x2000 square, and it's last man standing. Unlike the hunger games, you can break blocks and craft, so it becomes like vanilla minecraft if you want to survive, but health regeneration is disabled (even at full hunger), so you have just 10 hearts. You can only regenerate health by creating a golden apple, which requires 8 gold ingots instead of 8 gold nuggets. Or creating a health potion, which requires a gold block instead of a gold nugget.
So essentially, skeletons are super bad, since they will deplete your health very quickly. Fall damage becomes an issue. Finding gold is probably more important than finding diamonds, and of course, avoiding other players![]()
The current series of UHC that many famous YouTubers has a different twist, usually it's last man standing, but this time around the winner is the team which kills the ender dragon first. So they've had to go into the nether to get blaze rods, and have had to farm endermen. The usual version though is just people trying to be the last man standing
EDIT: Oh, and finding stuff like Desert Temples can be a real game changer, because of the amount of gold they can contain in chests![]()

Does it stand for Ultra Hardcore? I watched a bit of a video but didn't notice the difference.
