people have been on this forum long enough to care for it that if you asked for a donation of like 5 pound or whatever you would get it lol

Just thought I'd jump in saying I'd donate £5 to this site anytime, I think that from all the free content £5 certainly isn't asking for a lot.

If Jin read this thread he might see some of the other ideas offered and the positive vibe that is coming from members who want this place to succeed and continue. I'm glad its being removed as it was a silly decision and one that would just ruin all the hard work that is currently being put in to improving things and getting new members and is a bit of a kick in the teeth.

There are far more ways of gaining extra revenue if its needed than force redirects etc, and I think those should have been discussed first before something like this introduced. Hopefully now the owners can work with the community to develop other ways of doing this without causing more trouble for users/the site.

do they though, the fansite rules and everything got changed ages ago when they changed staff and i doubt they even care now as they're trying to get into fansites good books

I do not believe it is mentioned the policy that was given to fansites. Although I would say Habbox is in the bad books with the legal department at Sulake at the moment. But that shouldn't effect the sale of VIP I don't believe.

Get rid of donator.

Go back to VIP and VIP+ (with removed ads) to ease confusion of new members.

donator should stick, vip should be added back at double price of donator, vip+ added at triple price of donator/double vip or not for sale and only given by competitions.

But I thought Jin didnt make any money from Habbox and that all the revenue went back into the server costs etc. If he didnt give a crap then surely he would have just pulled the plug years ago?
