Think the people who have bought the company have to re-think their selling strategies and the price of the products that they are selling. I do like going into HMV and actually seeing the stuff that I am buying instead of having it based online and on my computer, I like the feeling of having a CD or DVD in your hands and opening it for the first time but yeah the prices need to be lowered a tad.

You forget that some people don't like Digital stuff. Actually quite a few people I know would rather buy a physical item e.g. an actual CD, DVD etc because at least you have it there to hold. Film wise you can also play a DVD as soon as you buy it rather than having to download it.

yeah i'd always rather have the physical thing, netflix and spotify is as far as i'll go with digital content

The argument for watching it as soon as you buy it doesn't really work. As you have to go out, or order it online - so Dow loading nowadays would actually be faster.

I get that some people prefer physical though, my parents do for cds for example.
