    Default eBay, Left negative feedback

    Okay,

I left negative feedback for an item I wasn't happy with, I originally contacted the seller to tell them I wasn't happy with there product, they then told me I had to speak to the manufacture direct, Which didn't help at all. I then contacted them one final time to tell them I would be leaving negative feedback unless they sort it in the next 2 days, He then started using abusive language etc. So I left negative feedback.

He then has emailed me to tell me that eBay will remove the negative feedback and He will bill me for it? Apparently $100?

You are entitled to give whatever feedback you wish for whatever reason.

The seller can dispute feedback and naturally, as with anything, if the seller is renowned then it will be removed. Sucks but that's life, don't let the big man beat you down.

They won't get it removed as eBay will contact you, you then just forward their messages.

That's all it is, an invoice. Shred it and send it back to them. With no stamp. Let them pay.

A bit rich to say he was the one who was abusive to you thus he's in the wrong - you should be able to give negative feedback as and when you wish without the risk of getting it removed.

What was wrong with the product - Can you not ask for a refund?

I ordered some speakers about a year or so ago and when they arrived they weren't working properly. They where big proper ones and the smaller ones on them for high pitched sounds weren't working and to replace them would cost a lot of money.

I'd paid quite a bit, they where a good brand, it was for a studio type set up and he just wanted to give me like £20 back which I wasn't having because he'd failed to mention even if he didn't realise that they weren't properly working. I contacted eBay and caused a dispute he said about refunding a small amount in the dispute but eBay realised that the small amount wouldn't cover the cost and so sent me a refund and even a paid postage label.

Cause a dispute and show eBay.
