Although America are the cause of a lot of death in the Middle East there is no reason to compare the situations as America is obviously going to get a lot more media coverage of the situation because of its high standing in everyday society. Yes the fact that we are so bothered about the deaths that have happened in America and no so much the ones in the Middle East is hypocritical but peoples lives are still at risk and the hypocrisy of the situation should be ignored as the people that have been affected basically have no choice about what the Government do to countries such as Pakistan etc.

It's not obvious as the value of the life of a citizen of the USA is no greater & no less than anybody else. Just because they have a more dominant role on the world stage doesn't mean they have - or should be - the centre of attention. The real problem is the mainstream media doesn't want to report the bombings in the Middle East otherwise it will severely damage public confidence whereas an event like this, as @-:Undertaker:-; suggested will just be used to rob the liberties of people for the sake of "security".

So yes peoples lives are at risk when they shouldn't be and to be quite frank it isn't fair, but the hypocrisy shouldn't be ignored.

for some bizarre reason and i don't know how or why but it was that one episode of homeland about the US propaganda of the 'fake drone footage ' that made me realise just how much the tragedies in the middle east and elsewhere are overlooked. regardless of that this is absolutely terrible, innocent people have died today and many more inflicted with injuries that will have massively impacted their future and happiness

my thoughts are with them and all those affected
