Ah damn I hadn't heard that yet. Thanks for the infoThere were only 2 bombs, no more.
"There had been reports that other suspected devices were found in the area, but speaking in Boston on Tuesday, the governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, said it was "important to clarify that two, and only two, explosive devices were found yesterday"."!
Here a bit of the bomb that caused it

To all who come to this happy place: Welcome
Join Me, Shall You?
Last time I saw this story on the news they were speculating whether it's home made or made by a bomb expert. I find it all interesting despite it being tragic because is it really that easy to get bombs planted? You'd think people might be a tiny bit more on the look out during an event such as this.

People look for a rational explanation before an irrational one. Someone putting a bomb in a bin is just someone depositing rubbish and not really worthy of a second glance (if there were even people around).Last time I saw this story on the news they were speculating whether it's home made or made by a bomb expert. Suppose so but even then, wouldn't they been looking around a fair bit. Acting shifty?

You're more likely to succeed at committing a crime if you blend in (unless ofc a google satellite manages to capture it) and act normal - imagine walking into a shop and trying to shoplift something, acting shifty is just going to attract someone's attention - so I imagine it'd be really easy to walk up to a bin and pretend you're throwing rubbish away.
Sometimes people act shifty when attempting to commit a crime by accident. Do they know if it was in a bin or if it was planted in another way yet?
