Done that already
They can remove it, especially if the seller phone up eBay customer service and they will remove it free of charge.
If you receive an invoice, just video yourself burning it and that will teach them. It's best to write up a blog post or something about the business, tarnish their reputation a little bit.
eBay are always on the buyers side, through anything unless the seller has proper proof. eBay won't remove the feedback (may remove the comment) unless under serious circumstances - threats/abuse etc. and you won't be billed $100 - He is just trying to scare you. You're more likely to get a refund for the item than him get that feedback removed.
Okay,
I left negative feedback for an item I wasn't happy with, I originally contacted the seller to tell them I wasn't happy with there product, they then told me I had to speak to the manufacture direct, Which didn't help at all. I then contacted them one final time to tell them I would be leaving negative feedback unless they sort it in the next 2 days, He then started using abusive language etc. So I left negative feedback.
He then has emailed me to tell me that eBay will remove the negative feedback and He will bill me for it? Apparently $100?

Wrong. They don't need proof. Powersellers make eBay money, buyers don't - directly anyway. It's **** but that's the way it goes. They don't even need to provide proof, it'll be like a one in a million thing and eBay will just dismiss it.
Yeah but they have to have GOOD reason, them with that language back to the person isn't going to get it removed. They can remove it, especially if the seller phone up eBay customer service and they will remove it free of charge.
