There is a difference in VIP and Donator other than the name and the earning aspect.

VIP's can change usernames, Donators can't.
A PM storage capacity of 800 messages, Donators don't get increased amount.
Ability to see who gave you reputation, Donators can't.
Option to make yourself invisible, Donators can't.
Be able to close your own threads, Donators can't.
Access to an exclusive VIP Forum, Donators don't.

I also thought that VIP get larger avatars/signatures, but obviously I'm wrong on that. So the whole not selling privileges aspect gets nulled. But so is the original argument, Skandair said he had to change his avatar when he changed from VIP/Donator. He doesn't, so there's no reason to add it in the shops. You would be buying nothing.

Yeah I know all that, my point is that you can't really separate the VIP from it's rewards, so I don't quite understand what you previously said. S: Maybe it's just too late for my brain.

Larger avatar space - 1000 tokens
Ability to change usertitle - 1000 tokens
See who gives you rep - 1000 tokens
Other VIP features - 1000 tokens
3 months VIP - 7000 tokens

Why would you buy the VIP and get the benefits for only 3 months, when you could buy all the benefits of VIP separately?

Well, donator has no features in real life, perhaps we should request some to be sold in the shop? Perhaps you could buy a nice hat in the shop and get it sent to you in real life if you're a donator.

The whole point of VIP having these features is so that VIP is unique to donator. And considering you can now buy VIP in the shop, there is no need to buy VIP features in the shop. If you want to change your user title, buy VIP. Le end.

Because donator is a lesser version of VIP essentially. To get VIP features, you need to get VIP.

You buy Sky TV to get Sky channels, but to get Sky Sports, you still need to buy the Sky Sports package even though you have Sky TV.
