Yeah I don't see the point in more ranks either. Habbox God, at 20,000 posts, is already very hard to achieve

Although in truth you could just remove user ranks entirely. Most people have either donator or VIP nowadays anyway. Seriously, VIP is dished out like it's nothing these days.

In fairness though that's only one person each for most of them with most of them being monthly, so removing all of that wouldn't make much difference anyway.

The problem is we don't have much else to offer as prizes. The only other stuff we could really do is credits and tokens but then the credits would have to be limited on a heavy basis to ensure we don't give out too much at once. To really stop too much VIP being given out is to bring back a system we used to have where only so much VIP could be given out by that specific department. Then use alternative prizes elsewhere.
