I +1 the idea and hope you do pull it off. Goodluck man!

All I'm doing is trying to bring some realism to the situation. I will say it again, the Club Sofa value is not going to go through a dramatic price change any time soon. However, I did say that he could do well with the Aloe Veras - although obviously this depends on his budget for this project (if you want to call it that). But yeah, I stand by my initial point that he would be better off spending his credits collecting an item which is already a little rare, and not the Club Sofa which is one of the most traded items with the current graph showing ~1000 of them traded each month through the mp alone.

HC sofas and blue pillows is a complete waste of time. Aloes might work. Did this with gnellies before the merge on AU and it worked out really well.

On the UK hotel they were released way, way back in the day. So not only were there low sales, but the amount still left in circulation would be pretty low. In the US and Canada they weren't released into the catalogue, so the large majority probably come from AU and SG where they were released. How much they sold, I don't know, and I couldn't really guess. I don't know how populated those two hotels were... But personally, I'd say they're some of the rarest classic rares out there...

Hmm idk really. There always seems to be aloes in the marketplace and they're not usually too hard to find, although that will begin to change if AussieGambler continue to buy them all up. I can see what you mean though, classic rares like the nellies and parasols seem much more common than these.

Tbh, In SG Hotel, there aren't really many thrones as I see from the other hotels, but we do have quite some number of director chairs... and a lot a lot of monoliths, marquees, exceptionally loads of hcs, quite a lot of aloes, (icms we have little, so do fans, so they are kinda expensive in our hotel).

And the petal patches are quite abundant, with the snow patches, and not to mention our pillows... way too many esp blue pillows, i remembered they are given out for free or sold cheap for a certain campaign or so... i cant really remember.

Am I being stupid here, didn't SG merge two years ago with UK, USA, AU and CA?

I'd chip in actually on what I said previously concerning telling members of the public, sometimes this can have a positive effect in that a runaway in the value starts - we saw this in the earlier years with the Strobe Solarium and the Russian Samovar/Holopod - of course a runaway rise usually has a short life span but sometimes can keep the rare higher than it was originally, ie the Strobe Solarium virtually collapsed but I don't recall it ever settling back down to its original undervalued price.

It all depends on circumstances really.
