There's a difference though, if someone posts in PAPOY then guests can't view it, if someone has it on their profile, again guests can't view it (I think), whereas if it was on an avatar or a signature then they could.

then it is down to the person to decide. if they only want members to see then u post it in pyp if u dont care about guests seeing (which im sure would be the case if u were willing to post in pyp) then u make it ur avi if u r comfortable with that. im sure if there was a crazy stalker out to see every1 and do v bad things wtih ur images then they have probs already been through pyp and stored all of ur images for their use already

Plus you shouldn't have any images in your avatar that would be considered inappropriate anyway so I can't see that being a real issue.

Yeah I see what you mean. I guess it's just a case of making sure users know that it's their own responsibility if they make the decision to put themselves in their avatar .

Don't really mind either way, I wouldn't personally want my face as my avatar but if others want to I guess it should be their choice..
