Default Have you ever gained profit from the catalogue?

The question is a little odd, but with the deals they do have you ever gained profit from buying from the actual catalogue? When Short Grass was 3c per I ended up buying 198 (as 200 would have made me buy one for 4c each time) which made it 2.6c with deals and I sold for 3c per, pity you can't do that now, but have you ever done it? I think offers are great in the catalogue, but sometimes Habbo aren't that smart.

When that wired competition was announced, I realised the give points wired boxes were no where to be found other than in the catalogue at 10c per. I bought bulk of them using the deals, paying 7.5c each, and sold them 8c per - other than the 1 I kept .

Also, when grass patches and cobbled stones were reduced in the catalogue I bought bulk, kept for a while, then sold when they went up to 1.5-2c per.

And a few years ago, the Shishi Odishi was released in the Habbo Catalogue as a normal rare.. But Habbo exchange was disabled meaning people were paying more than catalogue price for them, and so I bought them and then resold for these higher offers.

I don't think so I've always found this story about massive profit from the catalogue amusing though:

With Zen furniture popping up around the world, it was only a matter of time before they were released in the Dutch hotel. This Driday it was, only a little bit too soon… At around 11.00, the Zen Rocks popped up in the ‘Country’ section. Habbo’s who noticed this, quickly bought these (5 rocks for 9 credits), and - clever as they were - started to sell them. Rumour has it, one Habbo received 15 HC Sofas for one (!) rock.
The rocks got removed 5 minutes later so the price went up obviously (lmao at people paying 15 HCs omg... isn't that around 225c) and then they appeared under the proper 'Zen' section later on that day. guttedd

Yeah, the biggest one was when petal patch was last released for 25c and club sofas were at 14c so I bought quite a few and sold them all 2hc per. Easiest profit I've ever made!

Nope, but I presume anyone that bought any of the rares when Callie released them into the catalogue, or any of those 5 minute rares (Orange Parasol/Green Pillow?) would have made a healthy profit.

Architeuthis is the only one I can think of from the top of my head that's quite higher than 25c.
