No I had too many teeth apparently. They overcrowded my mouth and pushed some out of line and braces wouldn't help so they just removed them

I don't have gaps anymore so it musta worked.

They were taken out at the dentist? Out of curiosity, can you still feel a fair bit of pain when you had them out with local anaesthetic, I've only ever been under general

Was about to reply thinking you meant now (was thinking errr no? :L)

But at the time, you could kind of feel it - was more like "man stop jabbing my mouth" (obviously didn't say it, just thought it :L)

And yeah at the dentist, I meant the braces voluntarily - the teeth had to come out because of that decision.

If you could feel it now I'd be a tad worried :L

And oh right, I'm glad I didn't have mine done at the dentist then/didn't ask for braces. You're the only person I know who's actually asked for braces, most of my friends were dreading ever having them.

I decided I would rather have very good teeth in the future, than be told I needed major work done later in life. Get it done whilst U18 = NHS pays for it all. Get it done over 18, £3,000+ out of your wallet :L

Could easily have gone through life without any of it, but really never found having braces to be a pain or anything.

Yeah I completely understand why you opted for it haha, I think the only annoyance to having them would probably be not being able to eat certain foods for a while... which isn't that much of an issue itself
