eh yeah people are just basically saying not to hate on all muslims because they didn't hate on all irish people (which isn't particularly true by the way)How can someone stand there with blood on there hands explaining why they killed the soldier. People, just people, sigh.
R.I.P
Also does anyone know if the IRA are trending on twitter because of this incident or something else? I tried looking and I'm just finding posts about the killing.
but also something else related to the ira happened earlier today
Almost certainly.
Embarrassed to say one of the mosque attacks is about 20 minutes from me.
No better than the terrorists.
The way I look at it is that the HUMANS that use the mosques are just normal people, who happen to follow Islam. It isn't even as though they are attacking extremists.
In a similar context; Christian man stabs someone to death (which almost certainly happens multiple times a year in this country). So I react and go and smash up a church? :S
Just concerned that today's events will cause further racist, xenophobic views that unfortunately already exist in the country.
Or a child brutality attacks another child, so you destroy the school they go to in revenge. It's pretty much the same. You'd think they would attack their homes (which I do not support, but it seems more logical). If anything, they've widened the gap between honest Muslims and wider society.

How can you take in a mad man with a machete coming at you?Absolutely sickening.
Two things -
() Watch out for the state now coming to take your civil liberties under the guise of keeping you safe.
() Unsure on the circumstances and as much as I loathe what these individuals have done, shooting suspects dead on the street by the Police is something I find scary when it appears as though they could have been taken in without being shot. Even with those who we know to be guilty, they should be given a fair trial and then executed via hanging rather than the Police administering justice on the streets.
