Urgh, suddenly have pond envy It looks good, it will be quite a novelty item in your garden. Mine is a natural one with a mud/clay bottom which filters through the ground, which is useful to stop flooding, but the sides can erode away making it hard to dig out - which is where the jealousy comes in

    Thanks!
The feelings great once it's finished! Just been outside now in the dark and it looks amazing. can't wait to get the lights on it... going for a blue light on the blade fountain and getting some red/blue/green alternate lights inside the pond! gonna look fab, I think

That looks awesome! We had a pond until recently. We had fish, frogs and I bought some snails but they ran away LOL. I came home with some ducklings too, I just thought once I had them it would be cruel to sent them back so my parents couldn't do anything. The fish were huggeee, I don't know what they were but the duck's couldn't eat them. I loved it, but we took it all down and built decking over the top of it . The duckies now live with my horse, as I couldn't give up them haha. You need to post pictures once it's complete. It'll be awesome.

Wow, that actually looks great. Would love to see the finished project, are you just having a pond or will you fill it with fish?

Crazy what a little work can do. Ponds are peaceful.

Ducks destroyed my pond. Any more than 2 or 3 and they just begin eating away at the vegetation in and around it. There's a reason you never get ducks and lilies in the same pond Duckings are even worse!
