I'm not really sure how long it takes the forum management to add rep manually but it doesn't seem to take too long. In fact, mattg was really super fast when he was features manager! I'd say it'd be longer to go through each thread, check they've actually won something then add especially when there are 100s of winners a month. The system is practical and it does get the job done. I've already suggested possible alternatives to "it's not been added" that could explain it. Naturally, it isn't perfect and no system ever is but it is more effective than the system you're suggesting. It's not pure laziness, it's about not adding or changing something just for the sake of it or taking a step backwards. I am not in favour of keeping systems for the sake of it/tradition so am open to change (I completely changed the way the comp dept works due to member feedback) but I am also not in favour of implementing systems that are likely to cause more problems than they solve. You can call that pure laziness, I'd call it common sense.

Its easy enough to do really since we have to prepare a list for the features manager/forum manager to add the rep anyway, so the list is basically already made, we just needa post it in a thread.
