I've started to get it very bad this year actually but I haven't started taking anything for it, I've just been powering through.

If you don't have it at birth, I don't believe there is anyway to get it.
    Can people develop allergies?
Any who. If you don't have it, you will never have it.

    Who is affected

Hay fever is one of the most common allergic conditions. It is estimated that there are more than 10 million people with hay fever in England.
Hay fever usually begins in childhood or during the teenage years, but you can get it at any age.
The condition is more common in boys than in girls. In adults, men and women are equally affected.
Hay fever is more likely if there is a family history of allergies, particularly asthma or eczema.

You can develop any allergy at any age. My mum didn't get hayfever until she was around 30/31

Also been advised to use a nasal spray and regularly use my inhalers as hay fever has been making my asthma symptoms worse.
