Thats not true at all, if it was then I wouldn't have created numerous polls for forum changes in recent months. What you're saying might have been true under past forum managers but it isn't anymore. The community decides.
Anyway, I don't personally see the point when theres only like 1 person near the mark.

What's the point in another award? I think the whole award system is pointless anyway.
Basically, why didn't someone just VM @GoldenMerc; and ask if he wants an image saying '25,000 posts'
Oi, Ross, want to give the graphics department a job to do, or aren't you bothered?Point proven.Thats not true at all, if it was then I wouldn't have created numerous polls for forum changes in recent months. Let's be honest, there is no point increasing the ranking system for like 5 people. As I have said, feel free to make awards (although they are completely pointless anyway)!

Those fun polls that you flip-flop on depending on who gives you the most grief you mean
Well it shouldn't. I don't know why you're trying to suggest that a forum manager doesn't have the final say in how the forum runs; just because you might get criticised for it doesn't mean it isn't your job. If the community is in charge as you say then your role is pointless and FM should be toned down and turned back into Moderation Manager like it used to be
We can get Matt to confirm thats un-true if you're going to start that.
No I think you misunderstood what I'm trying to say. Things like this can be decided as a community because it's not something that's going to have a major effect on the forum. More important things such as rule changes can also be discussed to get an idea of what people want, but any changes that do get made are ultimately down to me.Those fun polls that you flip-flop on depending on who gives you the most grief you mean

If you don't agree with that then thats fine, but it's how I believe things should work and how it will continue to work.
