The camera was never coming with the PS4.

Ahh, I see. It was never confirmed for it.
So basically, if you want the PS4 with the camera... It's the same price as the XB1 with the Kinect?
At least PS4 gives you the option I guess... But assuming you are a person that would use the PS4 Camera and Kinect, then in terms of value for money, they're equal, are they not?
The Kinect is technologically superior so if they were both the same cost then the Kinect is a WAAAYYY better deal. However there are a few issues with that thinking
The Kinect is always bundled.
We have not seen any PS4 + Eye bundle SKUs yet.
The PS4 Eye is cheaper than the difference between the Xbone and the PS4. (£45 vs £80)

Wasn't the recent news that Sony did plan on including it with the PS4 but decided not to so the price would be less than the Xbox. It was never mentioned publicly that it was going to be included as it was a decision made before E3.Ahh, I see. It was never confirmed for it.

I imagine that Sony would just eat the majority of the costs on a bundle anyway. It was more of a political than financial decision.

Yea they removed the camera to make the price cheaper, all i know is the camera would be able to tel if you switched seats and would flip the split screen for you. Haven't looked into the camera yet.
If you'd like to direct me to where "Xbox One" and "Heartbeat" are on that page, i'd be very interested.
Only saying it as even fitness machines at gyms are pretty shoddy at getting heart rate monitors working efficiently, so something you don't even have connected to you? Right then.
I wasn't linking you to a xbox article, i linked you to an article which highlighted the fact that the technology is there, "Eulerian Video Magnification" and is factual. If you'd like to direct me to where "Xbox One" and "Heartbeat" are on that page, i'd be very interested.

The technology exists for 3D printing. It doesn't mean my next £80 printer will be printing out aeroplanes and guns!
