ozzie... being able to play old games isn't new, ps2 started that with being able to play ps1 games on it...

psp is 50x better than ds. If ds gets a touch screen Lumines though, i'll go buy another ds

i dont like the touch screen atm, none of the developers are really using it to it's potential.

And some of you talk about psp's dead pixels-- My first ds's touch screen only worked in the top corner! that's 1000000x worse than a few pixel errors, especially when you need that to play the games.

So you have to buy an extra to do all that PSP has it built in, PSP gets updates with new features every few months, and does the DS have wireless internet? your pathetic little baby you need to grow up and realise what world your in,more mature grown up people dont care for pathetic touch screens and microphones :@ :@

The DS su'cks and I don't wanna spend £40 a time on buying poor-quality games for a PSP.

Woah, calm down. If some people don't I can there there being a few heart attacks. Especially xEnigmA... You're getting far too worked up. I thought you were very mature for your age, but this thread is starting to make me think twice about that.

I don't think anyone has the right to call people "noobs" just because of the console they prefer. It's fully up to the individual which they like better, and they shouldn't be ostracized for making that choice.

I for one would love to see how this thread would go if the PSP didn't have it's flashy graphics.

DS just for kids? I don't agree. At all. And I presume Nintendo wouldn't either; I don't see many 6 year olds up watching some of the programs that have been sponsored by the DS on Channel 4: FAQ U, Balls of Steel, 8 out of 10 Cats, etc.

And JoeyK., if you're looking for a Lumines-esque game on the DS, try Meteos. It's a very similar puzzler, and is in fact by the exact same developer.

Ok, I'll agree with a few things that have been said. Ozzie, I don't think you know what capabillities the PSP has. Please don't criticize when you have little knowledge of what the PSP has that the DS doesn't.

Were all entitled to our own opinions so everyone should respect them.

In my opinion, the PSP is better than the DS.

Bear-Max, I think Nintendo have made the DS to be suited for a wide range of there audience. I've met alot of people who have these convosations, alot of them my age +. Most have changed to playing the PSP rather than the DS, I think you'll see more young people playing them, from about 6-13 year olds.
The games for the PSP are more suited for the teenageer audience.

I hate those posh people that moan about there kids playing violent games e.g GTA. It's clearly made for peoples above the age of 18. If they don't want there kids playing these games, why buy them?
Just had to release my urge to kick people such as that by converting it into writing

DS for kids? Again what Bear said about Channel 4, Ive seen grown men play their DS in the office to chill out. And I know PSP may play DVD's and have better graphics, but there's just something about it that doesn't make me want to buy it, I think it's that a Nintendo game could make me laugh, or smile. PSP games seem more like you have to be cool, you can't just lay back and play.
